Gerald A (Jerry) Knauf, 81, of Alliance, OH, former resident of Cressona, PA, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning May 26, 2020 at his home. Jerry was born December 30, 1938 in Shamokin, PA the son of the late Thomas & Maude (Sullivan) Knauf. Jerry served in the Army Reserve for 6 years, retired from Heritage Ford in 2000 after 38 years as a car re-conditioner and he was a member of Bethesda EC Church. Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, John Knauf, Riverdale, GA. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gail (Hoy) Knauf; daughter Patti Kutz, wife of Ronald Kutz; 2 Grandchildren, Kyle Kutz, Lititz, PA (wife Rebecca)  and Sarah Kutz (& Tyler Rinehart) Alliance, OH; 2 Great Grandchildren (Joanna & Harrison Kutz); a brother William (& Linda) Knauf of Schuylkill Haven, PA; several nieces and nephews.
