Gary A Roberts, born on July 20, 1955, in Alliance, Ohio, peacefully passed away at home on April 7, 2026. A devoted family man and cherished friend, Gary’s life was marked by his enduring love for those closest to him and his passionate spirit for the things that brought him joy.
Gary attended Alliance High School, where his roots in his community deepened, shaping the man he became. He was the proud owner of his own powder-coating business, a testament to his dedication, skill, and entrepreneurial spirit. Yet, above all else, his greatest pride and accomplishment were his family.
An enthusiast of driving, mechanic work, and car culture, Gary’s heart raced with the thrill of attending car shows and car races. His love for cars mirrored his zest for life. Whether camping under the stars or sharing a song with friends and family, his warmth and lively spirit created countless treasured memories.
Gary’s presence in family outings was a highlight, as he cherished these moments spent with loved ones and friends alike. Throughout his life, he found strength and joy in the company of his special friend Sally Ross, his daughter Leslie Ross, and his grandchildren Zack Ross and Taylor Johnson, along with great-grandson Justin Johnson. Surrounding him were his siblings Bill and Dee Roberts, Carolyn Reed, Ron and Kathy Roberts, Deborah Roberts, and Jodi and Jay Fisher—each holding a special place in his heart.
As we gather to honor Gary’s life, his visitation will be held on April 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Dean’s Funeral Home located at 256 W Ohio Ave, Sebring, OH 44672. The funeral service will immediately follow on the same day from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Gary’s journey was shaped by the loving foundation provided by his parents, Joseph Roberts and Doris Rubright, and brother-in-law Foyne McDivitt. Their memories live on in his spirit and in the hearts of all who knew him.
Though Gary has passed on, the legacy of his kindness, his laughter, and the profound love he carried in his soul endures. His family and friends find solace in knowing he left this world peacefully, surrounded by the love he so freely gave in life.
He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered, a beacon of love, joy, and steadfast devotion to those fortunate enough to have known him. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
