Gary Allen Mulinix, of Beloit, born on June 27, 1950, in Alliance, passed away on October 1, 2025, after a valiant and brief battle with seizures and a staph infection.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Gary dedicated himself to serving his nation and carried that same spirit of commitment into all aspects of his life. He graduated in 1968 from the fabulous class of West Branch High School.
Gary’s professional journey took him to American Steel Foundries, where he contributed his skills and dedication for many years. His commitment to his career was matched by a love for his community, as evidenced by his memberships in Sebring Trinity Lutheran Church and the Sebring American Legion #076.
Outside of his professional life, Gary cherished time spent gardening, doing wood, and he enjoyed trying to play golf at Westville Lake. He was an avid viewer of Fox News, taking an active interest in the world around him and staying informed about current events, and his admiration of President Donald J.Trump.
Above all, Gary found great joy in his family. He and his beloved wife, Pamela Kay (Glekler) Mulinix, shared 55 wonderful years, building a life filled with love and support. Gary was the proud father of two sons: Roy (Stacie) A. Mulinix, who resides in California, and Matthew (Shannon) S. Mulinix of North Canton. He delighted in being a grandfather to Lucas and Issac Mulinix, always eager to share moments with them and be part of their lives. Gary also had a special bond with his grand-dog, Harlie Quinn.
Gary is survived by his loving family, including brothers Rick (Mary) Mulinix of Beloit, and Lester Mulinix of Homeworth, and sisters Tammy (Ed) Sanor of Beloit and Karen (Jerry) Weingart of Alliance. He is further remembered by his good friends George O. Thompson and Les L. Unger, as well as his brothers-in-law, Gary Glekler and Woody Diehl and a sister-in-law, Jeanne Diehl.
A memorial gathering to honor Gary will be held on October 18, 2025, at 2pm, at the American Legion located at 395 California Ave, Sebring, OH 44672. This gathering will be a time for friends and family to come together, share memories, and pay tribute to the life of a man who made a lasting impact on those around him.
