Frederick John Wafler of Beloit, Ohio, age 76, was born on May 11, 1950, and passed away on June 22, 2026. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vesta Felger Wafler, and two brothers, Kenneth Wafler and William Wafler (Charlotte).

 He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Colleen Betz Wafler; his son, Jerry Wafler; his daughter, Haley Wafler; his brother, Tom Wafler; and three nieces, Brenda, Karen, and Cheryl. Fred served in the Army Reserves and was a lifelong dairy farmer on the family farm. He enjoyed landscaping, planting flowers, and spending time on the farm with his brothers and son. Known for being kind, quiet, and funny, Fred was remembered for his generosity, thoughtfulness, and willingness to help friends and family. Friends often said he had a truly big heart, and he would tell them his children were the greatest part of his life. At Fred’s request, no services are planned.
