Fred M Lynn, a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather passed away at his home on April 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 8, 1940, in Covington, Virginia, Fred led a remarkable life that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Fred proudly served in the Army before embarking on a fulfilling career as a mail handler with the US Postal Service. His commitment to service extended beyond his professional life, as he was known for his kindness and willingness to help others.
In his leisure time, Fred found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing, hunting, bowling, and playing cards. These hobbies brought him closer to his family and friends, creating cherished memories that will endure for generations to come.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Fred will take place on April 10, 2024, at Almost Home Event Center, 230 S 12th Street in Sebring, Ohio. The Celebration of Life will allow for sharing of stories and cherished memories to honor his life.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife Betty, whom he married March 5th, 1971. His children Troy (Becky) Lynn, Daniel (Kim) Lynn, Susan Lynn, and adopted son Jeff Angione. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Zane, Danielle, Jordyn, Jacob, Benjamin, Derek, Tory, and Gavin, as well as his great-grandchildren and two best friends: George Hopkins and Donald Nelson.
Fred M Lynn's legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family and friends. A special thank you to Aultman Alliance Hospice for their wonderful care. May he rest in peace.
