Fred A. Brown III, 81, passed away on July 22, 2026. Born on April 16, 1945, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Fred lived a life centered on family, friendship, and the great outdoors.

He was the beloved son of the late Fred Brown Jr. and Mae Brown. On July 7, Fred and the love of his life, Grace Mull Brown, celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary—a testament to the enduring love and commitment they shared throughout nearly five decades of marriage.

Fred dedicated many years of service as an Equipment Operator for the City of Alliance. Outside of work, he was passionate about motorcycles and proudly served as President of the Stone Cold Motorcycle Club. He was also a member of the American Legion in Alliance.

Family was the heart of Fred’s life. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Nicole Crawford and Tabatha Edwards (Gary Felgenhauer, Tonya (RL) Carroll, Jenny (Tim) Mergenthaler, Hope Brown, his brother, Rick (Karen) Brown; 7 cherished grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

Fred found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether he was hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, watching eagles soar, taking family road trips, or making memories with his children and grandchildren, he embraced every moment. He especially loved the mountains, celebrating birthdays with family, and creating lasting traditions with those he loved most.

A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held on Saturday August 1st from 2-5 pm at Harvesting Hope IYC 230 S 12th Street Sebring .

Though he will be deeply missed, Fred’s legacy of love for his family, adventurous spirit, and kind heart will continue to live on in all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and peace to those whose lives he touched. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean’s Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
