Elizabeth Irene McNutt, a spirited and feisty individual, passed away on January 16, 2026, at Altercare of Alliance in Alliance, Ohio. Born on September 17, 1938, in Augusta, Ohio
She was a proud 1959 graduate of Sandy Valley High School in Magnolia.
Elizabeth was known for her vibrant personality and her deep faith, often finding solace and inspiration in her favorite scripture passages from Jeremiah 29:11 and I Corinthians 15:38-44. Her love for gospel music was evident; she especially enjoyed the melodies of Jimmy Swaggart and found joy in the nostalgic tunes of the 50s and 60s, often relishing her time watching the Lawrence Welk Show. She was an avid reader who delighted in cooking magazines and enjoyed writing, as well as watching golf.
Throughout her life, Elizabeth maintained close ties with her family, leaving a legacy that includes her brothers Larry, Floyd, Owen, and Joseph McNutt, along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will remember her fondly.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel McNutt and Golsie (Murphy) McNutt, as well as several brothers, sisters, and extended family members.
Visitation will be held on January 23, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 PM, both at Harvesting Hope in Your Community, located at 230 S 12th St, Sebring, Ohio 44672.
Elizabeth’s life was a tapestry of love, passion, and spirit, and she will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio.
