Edward M Spock

85

June 8, 1940 – July 6, 2025

Edward M. Spock, born on June 8, 1940, in Searights, PA, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Helen Spock and brother Donald Spock.

He is survived by his faithful wife of 63 years, Betty; his children, Debbie (Ron) Crowl and Beth Spock; grandchildren, Kevin (Ashton) Crowl and Kelly (Todd) Hixenbaugh; and great-granddaughters, Emma Crowl and Felicity Hixenbaugh.

Ed was a quiet person with a gentle spirit who made everyone around him feel welcomed and comfortable. His faith was a strong foundation for him and his family. He had a great sense of humor that those who were close to him knew well. Ed retired from the United States Post Office in 1998 after 38 years of service. He enjoyed planning and taking family vacations, working with his scroll saw, and, more than anything, spending time with his grandkids.

Calling hours will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, 6041 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH, 44129 Tuesday, July 15, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, immediately followed by the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethany Lutheran Church.
