Donna J Campfield

Donna J Campfield, of Ravenna, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024, at the age of 79.

She was born to the late Wilson and Concella (Connie) Casto, February 5, 1944, in Jackson County, WV.

Family meant everything to Donna, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering love created a close-knit family whom adored her.Donna adored being surrounded by loved ones and found solace in their embrace, during times of celebration or solace during times of sorrow. Her gentle nature provided comfort for those around her as she offered words of wisdom or simply a listening ear.

Aside from cherishing time with family, Donna had a passion for life an embraced it wholeheartedly. She valued the simple moments, taking pleasure in in life’s everyday blessings. Donna found joy in nature, whether she was tending to her garden, watching the birds, the squirrels, planting flowers or pulling those pesky weeds. She often enjoyed leisurely walks appreciating the beauty of her surroundings.

Donna’s compassion extended beyond her immediate family; she was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her selflessness and kindness touched countless lives throughout the years, making her an inspiration to all who crossed her path.

As we bid farewell to Donna J Campfield, let us remember her infectious laughter, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will forever reside in our hearts as a beacon of light, guiding us through life’s challenges with grace. May Donna’s soul rest in eternal peace as her memory continues to shine brightly among us.

Donna is survived by her loving husband Edwin “Buck” Campfield of 48 years, Sons - Dale (Kathy) Lang, Danny (Meg) Lang and Doug (Sheryl) Howe; step-children Debbie Lynch, Diane (John) Whitfield and Danny (Pam) Campfield; sisters Patsy, Kay and Diane; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who were fortunate enough to know her.

The family would also like to extend a special thank you tothe Staff of McCrea Manor and Aultman Alliance Hospice for their loving care of Donna.

Please join the family as they Celebrate the Life of Donna J Campfield on Saturday February 3, 2024 at the Almost Home Event Center, located at 230 S. 12th Street in Sebring, OH. The event will begin at 1:00 PM with a memorial, followed by a Celebration of Life with family and friends to honor Donna’s memory, which will conclude at 4:00 PM.

Arrangements are entrusted to Dean’s Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio.
