Don retired from being an owner-operator trucker in 2021, a line of work he loved doing for 38 years. He loved to drive truck and had wanted to do so since he was a small boy, pretending in his mother’s kitchen with a pot lid for a steering wheel and soup spoon for a gear shift. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and hopping around amusement parks. Don was a motorcycle enthusiast and spent long hours tinkering with his bike. He and his best buddy Milo would take long walks together, exploring their country road and local parks. His favorite past time was playing with Hot Wheels with his girls and also building model cars and exploring flea markets for his train collection. Don had a wicked sense of humor, having the most amazing John Wayne impersonation, and always imitating something in song.
Don was a generous, kind, compassionate, and loving soul. He never met a person he didn’t want to help in some way. He was loved by so many, and the world will now be a little darker without Don in it. He will forever be missed by his family and loved ones. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
