Dewey J. Hickman, age 86 of Minerva died at his home on January 2, 2022024,4 at 906pm. Dewey was born February 12, 1937, to Dewey and Ethel Mae Hickman. Mr. Hickman worked at American Steel until he retired in 1996. He was a big Cleveland Sports fan. He would watch every Guardians, Browns, and Cavalier's game.

Mr. Hickman is survived by three daughters; Bonnie A. Hickman Curfman of east Rochester, Connie S (Richard) Stoffer of Homeworth, Jody M. Gosset of Salem. Two sons; Tom J Hickman of Minerva and Dean A (Aimee)Hickman of Grafton. Two granddaughters; Audrey J Hickman of Grafton and Katie M. Glover of Tennessee. Five grandsons; Jason A Curfman of Minerva, Andrew D Curfman of Minerva, Benjamin R Stoffer of Homeworth, Daniel L. Scott of Minerva, Kevin Glover of Montana. One sister-i n-law; Shirley Engler of Alliance and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn H (Woolf) Hickman, his parents; Dewey W Hickman and Ethel Mae (Wickham) Hickman, Five sisters; Opal, Lorain, Marge, Annie Mae, Dorothy, two brothers; Howard and Archie, two son-in-laws; Donald J Curfman and James Glover.

Services will be at Highland Memorial Park on January 11, 2024, at 11am. Friends and family may call Wednesday January 10, 2024, from 7-9pm at Dean's Funeral Home in Sebring. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
