**In Loving Memory of Delphos “Duane” Thompson**

Delphos “Duane” Thompson, age 86, peacefully passed away on October 11, 2025, in Alliance, Ohio. Born on May 19, 1939, in Ashland, Ohio, Duane was the cherished son of Milo and Lucille Thompson. His journey through life was beautifully enriched by the love he shared with his beloved wife, Sharon (Kaser) Thompson, with whom he spent 52 wonderful years.

Duane dedicated his professional life as a Maintenance Technician, but it was his passion for music that truly resonated within him. A committed Christian, he was an active member of Beechwood Christian Church, where his love for singing shone brightly in both the choir and various community performances. The sound of his voice will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege to hear him sing.

Beyond his musical talents, Duane found joy in simple pleasures—his love for country western music, the serenity of fishing in the Outer Banks, and the companionship of his beloved dogs. He was a devoted dog dad, whose warmth and kindness made a difference in the lives of many.

Duane leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion, and he will be deeply missed by his wife, family, friends, and the community that he touched in so many ways.

A celebration of Duane’s life will take place on October 17, 2025, at Beechwood Christian Church in Alliance, Ohio. Friends and family are invited to gather during the Celebration of Life from 4:45 PM to 5:15 PM. Jim McCloud will officiate the service.
