Clarence Frederick Schuller Jr., age 67, entered into eternal rest with the Lord on January 9, 2026.
He was born on December 20, 1958, to Clarence Frederick Schuller Sr. and Pearl Marie (Covington) Schuller.
Fred was an International Certified Arborist, a profession that perfectly matched his deep love for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and found his greatest peace in nature. Whether working among trees or spending time outside, he felt most at home under open skies.
In 1980, Fred married the love of his life, Angie (Garreffa), 46 years ago, on July 26, 1980, and together they built a life rooted in family and shared memories.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Angie; his children, Jamie (Jerry) Evans, Clarence “Freddy” Schuller III and Cyndi (Eric) Austin; his cherished grandchildren, Zachery, Devon, Hunter, Izabella, Spencer, Riley, Gaige, Harper, Ben, and Andrew, two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Sophie and his beloved siblings Jimmy Schuller, Maria (Randy) George, Paul (Dawn) Schuller and Allen (Melissa) Schuller.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Schuller Sr. and Pearl Schuller, his sister Rosene Schuller, and his son, Dustin Schuller, who passed away in 2020.
Fred will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and his devotion to his family. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and the generations he leaves behind.
He cared deeply about his friends and was always willing to help someone in need. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. His laughter, jokes, and infectious smile brought joy to everyone around him.
Fred is now comforted in the loving arms of Jesus and will remain in our hearts forever.
Final arrangements are being entrusted to Deans Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to join us for a service honoring Fred Schuller with Pastor Tim Muse Officiating at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Alliance, Ohio, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Calling hours will be from 3:00 to 6:00. Service will be at 6:00 p.m.
A dessert reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall at St. Paul’s Church, a fitting way to honor Fred, who never turned down dessert.
