Carol F Prendergast

September 29, 1953 — September 18, 2025

Beloit

Cheri Lynn Prendergast (Littleton) went peacefully at home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2025, after a sudden illness. Her devoted husband and family members surrounded Cheri.

Cheri was born on September 29, 1953. Cheri married the love of her life, Bill Prendergast, in 1972; they were happily married for 53 years. Together, they raised three children and built a life together.

Cheri operated and owned Pine Creek Greenhouse for many years. She was well known for her green thumb and gardening expertise. When Cheri did her gardening, everything turned to gold. Cheri was known for her laughter, witty jokes, and dancing. She had a love for animals like no other, especially her two cats, Tate and Boogie.

Cheri went above and beyond in everything she did. She was the most caring person you would want to know. She played a great example to her kids, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, and friends. A “follower” is something she could never be called. She set the tone in everything she believed in or thought. She was the most God-fearing, kind, leader, smart, and forgiving person we have ever known or anyone that has met her. She is well-loved and will be missed dearly. Words truly cannot describe how good of a person she was. She influenced all she was around. We know we will live off of the examples and teachings that she has taught and left all of us. She was the biggest supporter to Bill, Chad, Jason, Corey, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, great great-grandchild. No one was a stranger; she was a mom or friend to everyone.

Cheri is survived by her loving husband Bill Prendergast of Beloit, Son Chad (Jodi) Prendergast of Beloit, Son Jason (Debbie) Prendergast of Salineville, Son Corey (Magone) Prendergast of Sebring. Grandchildren Kylee (Brandon), Jacob (Alaina), Mitchell (Emily), Caleb (Holly), Emma, David, Mason. Great granddaughter Kinsley Grace and many nieces and nephews.

Cheri was proceeded in death by her mom Carol Wallace, dad Bob Wallace, Sister Sandy Heltman, brother John Littleton, brother Chuck (Deb) Littleton.

There will be private services for the immediate family at a later date.
