Candice Maher

Sebring; Candice S. Maher, age 77 passed away at Auburn Place Nursing Home April 12, 2016 following a long illness. She was born January 29, 1939 in Ripley, West Va. to William and Opal Davis. Candice was a homemaker and she loved painting, drawing, and anything creative. Family was the most important thing to her, she is loved and missed by everyone. She was a very active member of the Tri County Church of Christ She is survived by her husband of 24 years Don Maher. Daughters; Andrea (Jim) Ingledue of Austintown, O., Katie (Rod) Shaw of Lake Miton, O .a nd Monica Wilson of Ravenna, O.. Sons; Ron (Jennifer) Ward of Diamond,O and John (Julie) Ward of Idaho. Brother; Billy (Ruby) Davis of Chester, O. Eleven Grandchildren, and Four Great-Grandchildren. Also her beloved cat; Dustin Allen Maher. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters; Jean Vargo , Sharlene Crouser, and Mary Hanaford. A Memorial service will be held at the Tri County Church of Christ, May 1, 2016 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the cancer society.
