She is survived by her three beloved children and her eighteen adoring grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her loving spirit within them.

Her significant other, George McKnight, stood by her side, sharing in the warmth and joy she so generously bestowed upon those around her. Known for her kindness and compassion, she touched the lives of many, creating a legacy of love that will endure through the generations.

Her family history includes the dear memory of her parents, Martha Light and Jack Hammel, along with her beloved sister, Karen Hammel, and brothers, Jack Hammel Jr. and Dale Hammel. Each member of her family played a vital role in her life, shaping the compassionate and caring person she became.
