Barbara Vancamp

Barbara VanCamp, age 78, passed away January 18,2020 at Community Care Center in Alliance. She was born March 22, 1941 in Ravenna, Ohio to Robert and Irene (Boldizsar) Dehart. Barbara was a devoted wife of 57 years to James VanCamp who she married November 3, 1962. She was a loving mother, that was an amazing cook, to her three children, Tammie VanCamp, Robert (Virginia Stickler) VanCamp, and Jay (Amy) VanCamp. Barbara was an adoring grandma to Brandon and Garret (Taylor Funk) VanCamp. She will be deeply missed by other family members including a sister, Betty Jane (Wayne) Lepley, former daughter-in-law, Donna Herbert. Several nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and her special fur baby Cooper. Barbara enjoyed going to the county fairs and playing Euchre. She also loved Sunday drives, family trips, and visiting the mountains. She will be fondly remembered for her kind spirit and gentle spirit. “A Special Thank You to Lloyd and Mary Lou Holona for all the help with our parents with rides and doctors and such!” A private family service will be held at New Baltimore Cemetery.
