Donald R. Smith, 63 of Alliance passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born on may 8, 1955 in Alliance, Ohio to John and Elizabeth (Middleton) Smith, he lived in Alliance for all his life.

He attended Marlington High School and was employed at Clem Lumber as a truck driver. Donald musically inclined and was a drummer with Phase 3 Band.

Survivors include wife, Diana M. (Walden) Smith, whom he married on December 24, 1984; a daughter, Krysta Hayes of Canada; a grandson, Xander; two sisters, Beverly Hanschin and Betty Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and three brothers.

A private service will be held.
