Charles Albert Lacher, age 76 passed away at his home on December 13, 2019, with his loving wife Peggy by his side. Charles (Charlie) was born November 28, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to Albert and Grace (Betz) Lacher.

Charles worked as a roofer and was employed for 23 years at Keener Rubber. He also worked for 11 years at Wal-Mart in Alliance. Charlie loved to do wood-working and shared that talent with many. Anyone who knew Charlie will tell you that he never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy of 41 years, and his special cats. Also, his brother in law and sister in law: Sheldon (Kathy) Brown, Sister in laws: Billie Joe Shreve, Cheryl Hainsey, and Julie Brown.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents:  Albert and Grace (Beltz) Lacher, and a brother David Lacher.

Services will be held at noon at Dean's Funeral Home on Wednesday December, 18, 2019 with Pastor Quint Bryan officiating. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service from 10-12pm. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
