Alliance;

Betty L. Holbrook, age 77 went home with her Lord, Saturday Sept. 15, 2018  surrounded by her loving family in her home.

She was born Sept. 2, 1941 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Walton and Maudie (Barker) Johnson.

Betty was a 47 year member of the Alliance Freewill Baptist Church, she loved working in the church, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Pastor Jimmie Holbrook.

Son; Jimmie A. (Sharon) Holbrook of Alliance

Daughter Michelle Holbrook of Alliance.

Sisters; Vivian Short, Charlotte (Mike) Barker, Garnett (Larry) Hensley, and Lois (Darrell) Young all of Kentucky.

Brothers; John Johnson of Alliance, Henry Johnson of Rootstown, Clinton (Connie ) Johnson of Kentucky, and Dewayne Johnson of Kentucky.

Grandchildren; Jennifer Holbrook of South Carolina, Samantha Holbrook of Canton ,and Amberlyn  (Nate) Anderson of Akron.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by infant brother:  Fenton Johnson, and brother Gary Johnson.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 am. at Alliance Freewill Baptist Church, 731 Buckeye Ave. Alliance, with Rev Dewayne Johnson and Rev Bob Eldridge officiating.

Friends may call at the church Tuesday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. and from 10 to 11 a.m.  Wed. before the funeral

Burial will be at Alliance City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alliance Freewill Baptist Church's ladies aux.
